I primarily use Hornady dies, but I have a few sets of other
manufacturers dies as well. The thread is the standard 7/8"-14, and once
I have assembled the die and bushing and set the die height, I can lock
it down, and I never have to bother with them again. A quick twist
seats and unseats the die in the press, and they are very consistent. I
have used these since I started reloading several years ago, and I can't
imagine all the work that would be required if you were threading in
dies and having to set their height every time you changed one out.
Of course, these require a Hornady press as well. Just putting that out there for those with a less than keen grasp of the obvious...
